Concert at Moron Cathedral

“ El Cóndor” Morón newspaper 2004

May be we didn’t expect that a camara trio played in Morón, it means, a guitar trio. There was a time that “The guitar Association of Morón” was present, and organized brilliant concerts in the 70’s, last century, at the Municipal Theatre “ Gregorio de Laferrere”, directed by the alma mater of this institution Kela Grana de Funes Martinez and the subscriber like musical critical, there was a defile of excellent guitarists of the native youth, making a promotion of these values that later became famous all around the world. We are glad that a Trio of virtuous soloists is being generating again like brilliant ex students from the Provincial Consevatoire of Morón “Alberto Ginastera”, a new generation of outstanding instrumentalists that offered a splendid concert with JS Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Vivaldi and other scores. Its integrals Daniel Cabrio, Walter Fida and Diego Liotto, with Lic. Juan Daniel Cabrio’s arrangements and transcriptions.

In the first part of JS Bach we heard “ Jesus joy of men” and “ Little fugue I G minor”, with a prominence of a combination of the “ritornello”, with a suitable rhythm and the right balance. A very good execution and then, The little fugue in G minor, also played in the same way.

After we heard “ Pastorale” by Scarlatti, 2 pieces by Mozart “ O vinculo sagrado” and the famous “Ave Verum” finishing the first part with “Domine Deus” by Vivaldi, and “Canon” by Pachelbel. The integrals of this Trio, are the result of the union of camara which mixes the harmony of voices perfectly, that makes the solidity that a trio or a quartet needs to represent a little camara orchestra and also depends of the ability of the performers and this Trio does it wonderfully.

In the second and last part there were scores by Corelli, Durante, Cesar Franc, Berlioz, Gounod and Haendel with his “Aria” and the brilliant “ Hallelujh”.

An excellent concert that this Trio offered with its fitting interpretations, they had to add scores out of the program due to the persistent public.
